I still don’t see the light at the end of my tunnel
yet but it’s still very early in my journey and I’m confident that that tunnel will get brighter very soon.
| At the end of my journey, I'll have this! |
Though I still feel like I haven’t put a dent in
our 15 tons of fill, I’m proud of myself for putting my best foot forward…literally. I skipped my abs regiment last night, 3
nights in a row was killing me, but I did go for a jog. I thought I would do a mile to start so, with
the encouragement of my BFF’s 13 year old, we ventured out at 10:30 pm last
night. I started very slow but steady and quickly found that I couldn't even
make it up the street without stopping to catch my breath. For the next 30 minutes I jumped between a
slow & steady wins the race jog to a very intense speed walk. Melody however never skipped a beat. She continued her jog, while circling around
every few streets to make sure I wasn't too far behind. Thanks, Melody!!! When we finally made it
back to her house, we had completed our mile and I felt AWESOME! It was such a
great feeling to accomplish one wheel barrel full…many more to go.
